Where We Ship
- We ship to all 50 U.S. states and Washington, DC.
- International shipping is not available at this time.

Shipments to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses are limited to eligible small-parcel items via USPS;
fragile auto glass and freight/LTL items are not eligible.
Order Processing & Lead Times

Order verification: 1–2 business days (may include VIN/fitment confirmation).

In-stock small parts: Ship in 1–3 business days.

In-stock glass: Typically ships in 3–5 business days with specialized packing.

Special order glass or rare models: Usually ships in 5–10 business days.

Holidays/peak seasons:
Lead times may extend during U.S. holidays or peak demand
periods.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
Transit time begins when your order leaves our facility. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with
tracking.
Small Parcel (Standard)
Carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS
Transit: 3–7 business days
Notes: For accessories/adhesives/hardware. Glass excluded.
Small Parcel (Expedited)
Carriers: UPS, FedEx
Transit: 1–3 business days
Notes: Eligible small items only; processing still applies.
Fragile Glass / LTL – Curbside
Carriers: Specialized glass networks, LTL
Transit: 3–10 business days
Notes: Includes curbside delivery; inside delivery not included.
Freight + Liftgate (Recommended)
Carriers: LTL carriers
Transit: 3–10 business days
Notes: Recommended for residential deliveries and heavy/oversized crates.
Alaska, Hawaii & Remote Areas
Carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL
Transit: 5–14 business days
Notes: Extended transit/surcharges may apply; limited services in some ZIPs.

Fragile Glass Packaging & Delivery Expectations

Packaging:
Auto glass is shipped in protective crates or foam-lined cartons
designed to prevent breakage. Additional packing time may be required.

Curbside service:
Freight/LTL service provides delivery to the curb or driveway
only. Placement, stairs, or inside delivery are not included unless purchased separately.

Liftgate:
Strongly recommended for residential deliveries. Without liftgate,
additional fees or rescheduling may apply.

Appointment & Access:
Carriers may call to schedule a delivery window. Ensure
truck access to avoid re-delivery fees.
Shipping Rates, Surcharges & Taxes

Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, dimensions, freight class, and
service level.

Residential delivery, limited access, liftgate, and oversized/overlength services may incur
additional surcharges.
- Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address as required by law.
Split Shipments
Orders may ship in multiple boxes or pallets as items are ready. You will receive tracking for each
shipment; no extra charge for split shipments initiated by us.
Address Accuracy & Changes

Verify your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect or
incomplete addresses.

. After shipment, rerouting may be possible for a fee.
Order Tracking
When your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Tracking activity may take up to 24
hours to appear after carrier pickup.
Delivery, Title & Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title
transfer when the package is handed to the carrier (UCC
§2-509). We assist with carrier claims as a courtesy.
- Some orders may require an adult signature based on order value or destination.

Ensure a secure delivery location. We are not responsible for theft after carrier delivery scan.
Damage, Shortage & Inspection on Delivery

Inspect before signing (freight/LTL):
Examine all glass for cracks, chips, or
shortages. Note issues on the delivery receipt/BOL before signing and take photos.

Visible damage/shortage:
Contact us within 48 hours with order number and photos.

Concealed damage:
Inspect within 7 calendar days, retain packaging, provide photos
for assistance with repair or replacement.
- Failure to note freight damage at delivery may limit our ability to support a carrier claim.
Undeliverable, Refused & Missed Deliveries
- Returned shipments will prompt contact for reship options; additional fees may apply.
- Special-order glass is not refundable if refused, except where law requires.
- Missed appointments or re-delivery fees are customer responsibility unless our error.
Installation Disclaimer
Shipped glass is for professional installation. Inspect and dry-fit before applying adhesives. The Glass
Depot is not responsible for installation errors or vehicle damage.
Production/Shipping Delays & Notifications (MITOR Compliance)
If a delay occurs, we notify by email with a revised ship date or the option to cancel items per U.S.
Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays beyond our control, including severe weather, disasters, carrier
disruptions, labor/material shortages, or government actions.
Fraud Prevention
Orders may be held for verification. Shipping timelines begin after verification is complete.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Missouri and applicable U.S. federal law.
